The Focal Point Handbook: An Introduction to the GEF has been
developed in response to GEF Focal Point requests for readily
accessible guidance. The Handbook serves as a primer on the GEF,
its structure and governance, constituencies, and the roles and
responsibilities of Focal Points, including the strategic coordination
and integration processes that Focal Points facilitate at country
level. The handbook is a living document and will be regularly
revised and updated according to Focal Point needs and requests
and new developments in the GEF.

The Guide to Conducting a GEF
National Dialogue is a planning tool for Dialogue organizers
and facilitators. The Guide provides an overview of the objectives
and approach of the National Dialogue Initiative and a step-by-step
explanation of the process of planning and organizing a Dialogue.
An annex includes examples of objectives and agendas from recent
Dialogues. The Guide will be updated regularly in response to
Focal Point queries, Dialogue experiences, and evolving guidance
from the GEF.
